It’s strawberry season and I’m still into salted caramel everything, so why not to make a more nutritious version of a pie? This recipe makes 8 portions of delicious cake.
Ingredients:
60g oats
60g coconut flour
1 large egg
20g of sugar free Mapple syrup
40g of whey protein ( I have used S
200ml of Semi skimmed milk
Decoration:
150g of frozen strawberries
10g of almond flakes
Salted caramel from Myprotein, but if you have only a normal caramel one feel free to add a dash of salt
Mix all the ingredients together in the bowl for a base and push into a pie tray. Slice the strawberries, place them on the top of the cake and sprinkle with almond flakes. Bake for 30-40 minutes on medium heat. This cake is delicious warm.
