Dangerous Kitchen, an unorthodox musical trio who create a truly genre-busting sound, using an extraordinary range of instruments and sound sources.Their stylistic reference points can be found across the map of contemporary music, from the classical avant-garde to jazz, via experimentalism, free improvisation, and a variety of world musics. A Dangerous Kitchen performance will be by turns groovy, textural, melodic, angular, tranquil, and funny. Collaborations have included work not only with other musicians, but also dancers, and a long standing association with visual artist Maria Hayes. |
